A Land Area is a way of defining some area in an urban system. • A Land Area has a Location at a given point in time • A Land Area may be classified as having some Land Use Classification. • There may be other types (subclasses) of Land Area, defined in more precise or different ways, such as a Zone. • A Land Area may have some Area. This is currently a variant property and we have yet to determine whether this is equivalent to the area of the Geometry of the Land Area location (e.g. there may be various values with different accuracy from different sources). • A Land Area may have some population that is subject to change over time. • A Land Area may have a number of employed residents that is subject to change over time.
